Vents

Truncated conical sheet metal functional element, connecting the gutter and downspout, necessary for the regular flow of rainwater collected on the roof through the gutter. The water, by gravity, passes from the gutter at a lower level through the downspouts through the nozzle. The diameter is usually the same as that of the connected downpipes. In gutters with a flat bottom, flat vents are used, i.e. with an upper supporting edge contained in a surface. For gutters with a circular bottom, shaped vents are used, which have a support flap on a cylindrical surface. The material is the same as the gutters and downspouts.
